Welcome to the Springs Valley Community Schools’ Corporation web site. Located in the heart of Southern Indiana, Springs Valley serves the patrons of French Lick, West Baden and the surrounding community in an effort to educate each child to his or her maximum potential that they may succeed in their future endeavors as adults.It is our goal at Springs Valley to obtain the greatest academic achievement from our students by creating a professional atmosphere, utilizing new technologies, and delivering instruction through new innovations in teaching based on educational research. Our staff is dedicated to continued improvement in instruction and academic performance, giving children the best education possible. Through targeted interventions and differentiated instruction, we strive to meet the individual needs of our students. In 2010, Springs Valley was honored by the Department of Education for being among the top nine schools for academic growth and we continue to work each day to take that success even further.
As home of the Blackhawks, Springs Valley takes pride in providing numerous extracurricular activities for our students with the purpose of instilling teamwork, self-discipline, perseverance, leadership, and moral character. Our coaches and sponsors believe that the knowledge and skills that these students learn in these activities will be pillars in the foundation of their future success.
